The new Grand Banks 65, like all Grand Banks models, begins with a simple premise: a long-range cruising yacht should never force you to choose between speed and efficiency or performance and comfort.

At Grand Banks, we truly believe that you shouldn't compromise when it comes to offshore passagemaking.

Built with Grand Banks' proprietary V-WARP Technology®, the GB65 moves effortlessly and efficiently throughout the speed curve. At a 50-percent engine load, she cruises effortlessly at 20 knots while burning just 37 gallons per hour. Pull the throttles back further to 10 knots and the range extends to 2,344 nautical miles. The first GB65 Skylounge (shown here), powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350s reaches speeds exceeding 30 knots, delivering the freedom to cover serious distance and spend more time to enjoy each destination. Owners can choose between pod drives or conventional shaft drives depending upon their preference. Because of the company's approach to hydrodynamic design, the hull underbody does not have to be changed to accommodate which engines are chosen.

Yet performance figures tell only part of the story.

Like every Grand Banks, the GB65 will reflect how her owners wish to cruise and can be customized to suit. Available as a Skylounge, shown here, or a Flybridge model, she can be enjoyed as a long-range passagemaker, family adventure yacht, expedition platform or a capable yachtfish. This versatility of the entire Grand Banks 60 series is at the heart of the ranges appeal to experienced owners. The expansive salon, aft galley and full-beam master suite create exceptional liveaboard comfort, while a third en suite stateroom can be utilized as additional guest accommodations, an onboard office or even a highly functional utility room.

Throughout our 70-year history, Grand Banks has always been known for its approach to systems and mechanical spaces on each of its models. The Grand Banks 65 elevates this standard even further with an engine room space that allows for easy service around all points of the engines or generators, and an approach to system technology that ensures that each of our boats are easier and simpler to operate. For instance, single centerline fuel tanks not only ensure a well-balanced hull, but eliminate the need for additional fuel manifold systems and extra layers of complications. Our electrical systems are designed to eliminate the need to switchover between ship's service, or shorepower, and there is no longer a need for constant electrical monitoring and load management while on passage. It's this type of near-constant innovation that ensures every Grand Banks truly is a next generation passagemaker.

Through its boutique, builder-direct sales model, Grand Banks provides the deeply personal experience of creating a custom yacht with the confidence and predictability of an established production builder. Every major decision is considered alongside the owner, from accommodations and equipment to the details that make months aboard feel entirely natural.

The result is not simply a new Grand Banks. It is your Grand Banks, Built for the Journey Ahead.
