The number of entries for the 2018 Supernova Nationals has passed the 100 mark nearly 6 months before the event! Discounted entries are extended to 31 January.

With thanks to all of our dedicated members and our nationals sponsor (Hartley Boats) the Supernova Class Association has achieved 100+ boats for their nationals. This is the third year in a row for the Class and secures the Supernova as one of the largest single handed dinghy classes in the UK.

Class Chairman, Chris Hawley, has sent a note of thanks to all of the members for their efforts. Special thanks go to those members who are unable to attend but have lent their boats out to others.

So much work goes on behind the scenes for the nationals, both from the committee as well as the host club. Seeing the Class hit the 100 mark again really makes it all worthwhile to the committee.

As we have reached our target of 100 boats just before the date cut off of 31 January, we are aware that some people were planning to sign up but are now thinking again as the discounts have ended. I am pleased to say that the team at Hartley Boats have agreed to extend the discount offer to 31 January and waive the 100 boat cap.

We hope this additional week of discounts will allow further members to take advantage of the very generous "early bird" nationals discounts.

Best wishes for the season ahead and thanks again for your help.
