ActiveCaptain Community: A reminder

by Garmin 13 May 2018 08:30 PDT
ActiveCaptain® Community © Garmin

The word is out that we're making improvements to the free ActiveCaptain® Community. Our new website will launch on May 23. You may have questions about saving any pictures, routes or other data from our eBoatCards site, which is being discontinued. Or you may want to set up an account for the new site. The FAQ link here is the place to start.

Let's grow this community

To encourage more business involvement, chart markers for marine-related enterprises are being consolidated under a single "Business" icon. Added categories show what's available onsite — services, fuel, amenities, retail and more. A "Nearby" choice helps you find other amenities or retail options within a mile of the selected site.

Building for the future

Our growth plans are all focused on you, the boaters who've built and contributed to our ActiveCaptain Community. It will remain a free resource with exciting new features to come. So watch for updates. Happy boating!
