From October 27 to 31, the yachts of Sanlorenzo will be on stage at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the largest "in-water" boat show in the world.
Sanlorenzo will present a selection of models from the SX crossover and SL planing lines, including the new asymmetrical SL106A, which makes its world debut at the industry's most important show in the USA.
The concept of the asymmetrical line is the result of a felicitous encounter between creatives with very different experiences and points of view: from an original idea by Chris Bangle, the brilliant car designer, to Bernardo Zuccon, designer of the exterior lines, to Sanlorenzo's ability to translate even the most complex proposals into reality.
The new SL106A maintains the distinctive characteristics of the asymmetrical version already present on board of its younger sisters, the SL96A and SL90A; it redefines the garage space at the stern, providing more space to house a jet ski, as well as the tender, and adds a 12 msq sunbathing platform, in total connection with the sea. The layout of the lower deck has also been enhanced, with increases in the surface area in the guest cabins, the saloon area and the engine room.
Thanks to the asymmetrical layout, the main deck not only benefits from a larger surface area but also features a spacious dining area on one side with a full-height window overlooking the sea and a lounge on the other which benefits from a folding terrace.
The bow area offers a 20-square-metre space with integrated sun loungers and a convertible dinette, and can be reached through a dedicated access from the almost 30-square-metre owner's cabin. The fully customised fly bridge, of approximately 60 m, is connected to the foredeck.
The external lines have also evolved through the introduction of details such as the One-Way glass that merges with the hull, disappearing from view, offering a continuous and homogeneous surface.
Completing the presentation of the range:
- SL86, an iconic model in the planing range, which stands out for the innovations introduced on board, such as the lowering of the bulwark at saloon level to let in more light through the large windows.
- SL96A, also an asymmetrical model, rethinks the canonical layout of a yacht, keeping only the port side sill on the starboard side and eliminating the port side, which is carried on the roof of the superstructure.
- SX88 and SX112 of crossover range, a synthesis between the classic motoryacht with flying bridge and the explorer, born from the desire to propose a new type of yacht that is transversal with respect to different segments.
