July Highlights

  • The Arc One visited the Bay Area for customer demos. We learned a ton about navigating new waters, dealing with the summer winds and where to dock for a meal in Sausalito. See photos below from an epic trip.
  • Serial No. 2 came back from paint, and mechanical integrations are now under way.
  • Manufacturing kicked off for Serial No. 3. The pace of production is picking up!
  • We kicked off composites development for some interiors upgrades.
  • Our interns took the boat out for an end-of-summer outing at Castaic Lake. They spent 3.5 hours wakeboarding, wake surfing and tubing with 10 people on board and had lots of battery to spare.

How do you charge an electric boat?
There are many charging options and speeds available Many people associate "range anxiety" — the concern of having enough battery to make it to a destination — with electric cars. Likely because of that association, we get questions all the time wondering if electric boats have similar charging concerns. Posted on 2 Mar 2023
