Savvy Navvy and Quad Lock partner to provide Beyonder boaters with accessible navigation tools

by Isabel Johnston 10 Dec 2022 01:40 PST

A new collaboration sees three global marine companies all aiming to get more people onto the water, working together and further enhance boaters' experience with their innovative products.

All-in-one navigation app savvy navvy has teamed up with Australian based Quad Lock smartphone mounting system, offering all Beyonder boating club members the kit and navigation ability to plan their next trip on the water.

All new members of UK-based boating subscription company, Beyonder Boating will be offered an Elite savvy navvy subscription to plan their journey and navigate the waters, setting up their smart phone device onto a mounting system supplied by Quad Lock, which recently launched into the marine sector.

"As we've grown hugely in global users of our all-in-one navigation app, so have our industry partnerships. Any company that ultimately brings ease of use to a boater's sailing experience adds value to us and to them. Experienced or not, all Beyonder members will now be able to plan their journey before they head out on the water with their savvy navvy subscription," says David Cusworth, Head of Innovation and Partnerships at savvy navvy.

Offering a more accessible way for people to enjoy a boating lifestyle, Beyonder Boating, part of the boatfolk community, has gone from strength to strength since launching last year. The boat club enables members to book a boat via their app on either an ongoing or trip basis on a range of boats to suit all preferences and budgets.

Piers Covill, Managing Director of Beyonder said: "All our boats come equipped with a full electronic navigation system but many of my customers prefer to use their phones combined with the familiarity of the savvy navvy app. So many of our members are new boaters, so it means one less thing to learn when using their boats. The routing feature is particularly popular with our customers enjoying the fact that savvy navvy will safely route them to their destination when in less familiar waters. Combined with the excellent Quad Lock system means their phones are secure and easily visible even when under way".

Quad Lock, the strongest and most secure mounting system in the world, has been integrating smartphones into active lifestyles for more than ten years. Recently going into the marine business, their kit is already proving popular with boaters around the world.

"We are thrilled to be working with partners with such a strong standing in the marine category. We look forward to offering our growing range to marine enthusiasts," says Vaughn Young, Business Development Representative at Quad Lock.
