The smooth responsive ride and solid feel of the BB44 Hull form, optimized for offshore performance will delight the performance-minded drivers who have come to appreciate the decades-long collaboration of the design talents of Doug Zurn and Boston Boatworks advanced composite engineerinig and construction skills.
Our new partner, London-based Winch Design added refinements from their aviation and superyacht design practice to make the BB44 an elegant home on the water. Connections with family, friends, and our natural world are the focus for the BB44. Offshore safety, comfort, and range are design foundations. With four boats under construction, the ISO CAT A BB44 will cruise at 32 knots, with a top speed of 36 knots.

Doug Zurn has years of experience designing boats. But he also has years of first-hand experience going to sea, changing filters under way, hitting his head, losing his footing, and seeing what works and what doesn't. That experience shines through on the BB44. Owners will appreciate seamanlike features like well-placed cleats and handholds, functional engine room access, clean lines of sight from the helm.
The accommodations package is perfectly suited for a cruising couple. The large forepeak owner's cabin features a walkaround queen berth, lots of natural light, a large hanging locker, and an ensuite head (which also functions as the day head). Amidships there is a large u-shaped galley to port with enough counter space and meal-prep room to keep any chef happy and an L-shaped settee with a dinette to starboard.
Head up a few steps and the galley transitions seamlessly into the salon, which features an L-shaped settee and dinette abaft the helm station to starboard and a large sofa to port. Take a seat and you'll immediately notice the careful attention to detail provided by London-based Winch Design. Thoughtful window placement brings in an abundance of light and fresh air, and creates a space that is bright, spacious, and elegant. Owners can choose from a variety of soft goods packages to further enhance life onboard.
Outside, there's plenty of room to stretch, kick back in the sun, or enjoy an al fresco meal thanks an L-shaped settee with a dinette. A transom door to starboard provides easy access to the large swim platform when it's time to cool off with a swim.
