Outfitting activities are progressing at the Marina di Carrara shipyard on the third 53-metre motor yacht in the Admiral 50 series, part of the semi-custom Admiral line.

Construction work on the hull and superstructure is proceeding without interruption as per the production schedule. Systems installation and optimisation are under way, followed by the outfitting phase.

The Italian Sea Group (TISG) is strengthening its path in the "semi-custom production" sector, maintaining a consistently high-end position, exclusively using aluminium.

Sustainability

The Admiral 53m superyacht is equipped with an innovative e-MOTION hybrid propulsion system, comprising two MAN DIESEL engines, four variable-speed generators, two permanent magnet electric motors, and a large lithium polymer battery pack.

This system offers multiple operating modes:

  • Diesel main engines and electric alternators supply power to all onboard services during navigation with the generators off, allowing the batteries to recharge.

  • Variable-speed generators adjust their output based on the onboard load requirements, helping to reduce fuel consumption.

  • The battery pack allows the yacht to operate all services and comforts for around eight hours with zero emissions, no noise pollution, and no vibrations. Additionally, it enables entry into the port in electric mode, with docking operations carried out with the main engines and generators turned off.

  • The batteries, equipped with a "peak-shaving" function, prevent the need for activating a second or third generator during short-term load peaks. They also ensure the yacht can continue running seamlessly, even in the event of a temporary loss of shore power, a common occurrence in ports, avoiding inconvenient blackouts.

"This fully aluminium, shallow-draft superyacht, the first hybrid model in the Admiral 50 line, confirms our ongoing commitment to sustainability," said Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group. "I am particularly proud that today most of our projects focus on hybrid innovation, a journey we began in 2016 with the launch of the 55-metre Admiral Quinta Essentia superyacht, the world's first hybrid-powered yacht in its size range".

The design, free from visual barriers, and the elegant flow between the exterior and interior spaces create a continuous and natural dialogue between all areas, characterised by large volumes and structural detailing.

The interiors offer a refined and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to a meticulous selection of highquality, natural materials such as wood, stone, and textured metals. The owner's suite, located on the upper deck, enjoys panoramic views on three sides and opens onto a private forward-facing deck.

The Admiral 53m can accommodate up to 12 guests across five spacious suites on the lower deck and the owner's cabin on the main deck.

Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2025.
