The Australian International Marine Export Group, organizers of the Australian Marine Export and Superyacht Industry Conference (ASMEX) are excited to be working with global superyacht insurance provider Pantaenius Sail and Motor Yacht Insurance for the seventh edition of this leading marine industry conference.

The conference will run from the 22 - 24 May 2017 at the Intercontinental Resort Sanctuary Cove, conveniently held in the days leading up to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which runs from the 25 - 28 May 2017.

Pantaenius have been a major sponsor of the ASMEX conference since 2013, a conference which has grown to become the leading marine industry conference in Australia and attracts key players globally. Martin Baum, Managing Director of Pantaenius based at the Pantaenius head office in Germany is one of these internationally renowned guests who is returning to ASMEX 2017 following his visit in 2016, considering the event one not to be missed. Martin will address the conference theme Staying Relevant in Today’s Global Business Environment, by presenting on trends affecting the global superyacht industry.

Pantaenius has been insuring yachts and resolving their claims around the world for more than 40 years. For decades Pantaenius has built up a formidable network of agents, surveyors and repairers. With over 80,000 yacht owners trusting Pantaenius for their insurance, the company is the largest yacht insurance provider in Europe and a remarkable market player worldwide.

Pantaenius Australia continue to be a strong performer in the Australian market, a testament to this is their high profile at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The Pantaenius Superyacht and Marine Pavilion will again house a large display of quality marine products and services and Pantaenius themselves will welcome visitors in two locations across the show, both on water (Pier E) and in the Pantaenius Superyacht and Marine Pavilion, (Stand 351).

James MacPhail, General Manager of Pantaenius Australia said: “We thank Maryanne for again inviting us to support and attend the Superyacht Industry Conference at Sanctuary Cove in 2017. We have supported ASMEX and the conference for the past four years as we believe in the need to support our industry body in its endeavour to represent our business interests. The team at ASMEX led by Maryanne Edwards have achieved a tremendous amount over the past four years and this conference provides an ideal platform for the members and industry players to have a say and support the team in what is a significant growth period for our industry”.

AIMEX and Superyacht Australia’s CEO MaryAnne Edwards said “The support the superyacht industry is getting from Pantaenius is significant and members appreciate it. This is evident by the support they are giving back to Pantaenius and the growth Pantaenius have experienced in the Australian market. Having their global Managing Director on-site here in Australia for over six months to really understand the market is also testament to the importance Pantaenius place on their customers”.
