On Thursday, November 19th, the Best of Boats Award 2020 award ceremony took place in Berlin, with the nominated yachts and shipyards.
Initiated in 2014, this is the only award in the motorboating world that aims at identifying the best yachts of the year based on five categories for different use: best for beginners, for family, for fun, for fishing, and for travel.
Precisely in this last category, Absolute Navetta 64—The Absolute Pathfinder—has won the award in the "Best for Travel" category.
According to a jury of nautical journalists with great experience and passion for testing: "It's one of the biggest 60-footer ever seen. Actually, it has 64'5", so the space on board is enormous, open and bright. Adding to the incredible master cabin the new Navetta has a beach club on the aft. It's something special."
The 18 international journalists of the jury, all coming from various publishing houses, were looking for the best novelties in terms of motorboating in Europe and announced the winners in the different categories among the 21 official finalists.
"It is always thrilling to be nominated for such an award and, above all, win it!" stated Cesare Mastroianni, Absolute VP Sales & CCO, in streaming from the shipyard's headquarters in Piacenza, Italy. "The concept behind the Navetta's line was born a few years ago: we wanted our boats to give the owner the possibility to travel anywhere without ever feeling far from home. We called this particular project 'The Absolute Pathfinder' because aboard the Navetta 64 you can really travel anywhere you want, without space limits."
Navetta 64 - The Absolute Pathfinder
Not a simple expansion of an already complete range, but rather the most tangible expression of generous and open-minded engineering has allowed implementing not only the usual Absolute Yachts' best features but also amazing onboard innovations.
The Navetta 64, The Absolute Pathfinder, is like a sister to the other models in the range: she is a Navetta, and you can easily tell why. The wide and uninterrupted side glass window, which runs from the aft mirror to the windshield, outlines her exterior shapes, characterized by the significant enlargement of the bow windows and the opening of the side gunwales in the cockpit.
Waking up with the sea in the eyes, almost touching the water
In the Beach Club version, the transom can be turned from large storage into an actual double cabin on the water's surface thanks to a fully glazed watertight access door with a certified watertight seal.
Beach Club by day and VIP cabin with an en-suite head by night: this alchemy is made possible thanks to the placing of the crew cabin—with 2 berths—directly accessible from the second starboard side door. A triumph of livability both at daytime and at night-time, right at the stern, right on the water!
Maximum space, comfort, design, and technology. No half measures
Aboard the Navetta 64, all the spaces are designed to offer the maximum enjoyment of the rooms—always panoramic and bright, thanks to unprecedented-size windows. In addition, the spaces are furnished and refined with everything you need to feel just like at home, without giving up on anything.
The Fly area has a far greater width than on any other 64-foot yachts.
In the main deck, the living room is surrounded by frameless glass windows, offering breathtaking panoramas.
The comfortable sofas, the large table, the entertainment area, and the galley—easily connectable to the cockpit—top it all off. Moreover, the area is overlooked by a steering position with a unique windshield of more than 10 feet, curved and frameless for absolute visibility, especially when sitting.
Below the deck, the master cabin is at the bow with a king-size bed, large side windows, and a full-beam head. Also, the VIP cabin really stands out: its livability is definitely above average and the materials selected are simply exquisite. Furthermore, the third cabin is a double stateroom with single beds. Finally, all cabins have en-suite heads.
