2026 29er EuroCup 3 at Marina Koper, Slovenia - Day 3

by 29er Class 21 Mar 11:17 PDT 19-22 March 2026

The third event of the 2026 29er EuroCup in Koper, Slovenia, saw no racing on Day 3 as light wind conditions prevented any further races from being completed.

After a long wait both ashore and on the water, and despite the efforts of the Race Committee, the wind did not stabilize sufficiently to allow fair racing. As a result, the standings remain unchanged heading into the final day of the event.

Earlier in the regatta, sailors competed in solid 15-20 knots conditions during Day 2, delivering fast and tactical racing across the fleet.

Sweden's H. Wigforss / W. Drakenberg continue to lead the overall standings, followed by Austria's M. Schauer / F. Schauer in second and Germany's P. Horber / M. Reinthaler in third.

In the women's ranking, Finland's M. Kauppi / A. Kylavainio remain the top female team, currently placed inside the overall top 10.

In the U17 category, Hespe / Kampa lead the standings, followed by Grala / Kuzmicki and Murena / Marassi, all demonstrating consistency throughout the opening days of racing.

The final day of racing is scheduled for tomorrow, with the sailors' briefing at 8:30 and the first warning signal planned for 9:30.
