2026 29er EuroCup 3 at Marina Koper, Slovenia - Overall

The third event of the 2026 29er EuroCup came to a successful conclusion in Koper, Slovenia, after four days of competitive racing and a total of ten races completed.

The final day got under way early, with sailors taking advantage of a northeasterly breeze between 8 and 16 knots. The Race Committee completed three races for each group before the wind gradually faded, bringing the regatta to a close.

At the top of the overall standings, Sweden's H. Wigforss / W. Drakenberg secured the win with a consistent series throughout the event.

Austria's M. Schauer / F. Schauer finished in second place, followed by Poland's M. Kosmowski / J. Marjanski in third.

In the women's division, Finland's M. Kauppi / A. Kylavainio took the victory, ahead of Poland's B. Sojkovska / J. Nagorska and Germany's J. Bonn / M. Abeler.

The mixed category was won by the Czech team K. Lojkova / K. Bezusek, with Hungary's E. Juhasz / A. Juhasz in second and Estonia's E. Soomer / A. Kepp in third.

In the U17 categories, Germany's L. Hespe / S. Kampa topped the boys' ranking, followed by Italy's P. Murena / G. Marassi and Germany's K. Kurzeja / J. Loesti. Austria's C. Waltersdorfer / K. Bockl won the girls' division, while Poland's W. Grala / P. Kuzmicki secured victory in the mixed U17 category.

Koper once again proved to be a key venue on the 29er EuroCup circuit, offering a full range of conditions and a highly competitive international fleet. The event confirmed its role as an important step in the development of the next generation of sailors.
