Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 72' Old Reliable

by Bayliss Boatworks 2 Feb 2021 09:08 PST

Old Reliable's (Bayliss 72') cockpit development continues as the coaming and coverboards receive glassing. Our exterior carpentry crew is beginning the teak deck, hand-picking boards for installation. It won't be long until the cockpit comes to life!

Until then, the mezzanine functionality is taking shape as we make room for the starboard grill and tackle center along with the installation of her stainless liners; Adtech is being applied to the mezzanine, ahead of fairing and primer scheduled in early March.

Inside of Old Reliable, buildout continues for plumbing, duct work and cabinetry. Chiller lines and insulation for the A/C were installed in the staterooms, as well as washer and dryer hook-ups in the companionway.

Wire runs are complete throughout the interior, allowing our interior carpentry crew to finish installing hanging lockers, cabinets and cabinet doors.
