Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'

Inside the hull of Bayliss 75', there have been major developments over the past month bringing the boat to life.

With her forward sole installation complete, the exterior carpentry crew installed the lower level interior walls showcasing the four stateroom and three head layout. Across the shop, the bow deck carlins are being laminated in preparation for their installation next month.

Bayliss 75' also received her main mechanical components including twin MTU 16V2000 at 2,600hp each and a pair of 38kw Nothern Lights generators. In addition to the main components, the engine room also saw the installation of the battery chargers, hydraulic tank and coolers.

The salon deck was flipped and finished fabrication before being installed and glassed overtop of the engine room. We are anticipating the installation of her cabin this month; another big milestone for this awesome build.

The planking process has been completed After receiving three layers of cold-molded okoume plywood on the bottom and two layers on the hull sides, the planking process for Overtime (Bayliss 67') has officially been completed with the placement of her "whiskey plank". The interior is progressing quickly Our greatest note was the installation of her 1,150 gallon forward fuel tank by our mechanical crew.
