Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'
by Bayliss Boatworks 6 Feb 2021 08:37 PST
The interior of Bayliss 75' is progressing quickly, after some big milestones were met in January.
Our greatest note was the installation of her 1,150 gallon forward fuel tank by our mechanical crew. Once in place, the paint crew was able to complete fairing, painting and top coat inside the machine tunnel - forward sole installation is next!
Inside the engine room, our crew is pushing through fairing, primer and top coat - just ahead of the installation of this hull's CAT C32A engines and 25kw generators installed.
Inside the aft fuel tank area, fabrication is still under way on the engine room companionway and the gyro surround that will house a Seakeeper 18.
