Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 67' Overtime
by Bayliss Boatworks 10 Feb 2021 08:39 PST
After receiving three layers of cold-molded okoume plywood on the bottom and two layers on the hull sides, the planking process for Overtime (Bayliss 67') has officially been completed with the placement of her "whiskey plank".
The hull carpentry crew now sets their sights towards shaping the sheer line and installing the teak sheer guard. Once complete, spray rails will be fabricated and installed prior to our paint crew glassing and fairing the hull.
On the underside of the hull, sea chest frames and compartments for zinc were cut and glassed. On the flybridge, development of the benchseats and console continue before they are glassed, faired and coated in Adtech.
